Bosnian guitarist Emir Hot presents an album that's a refreshing, unique sound within the classy, melodic, progressive heavy metal area. Blending progressive and neo-classical heavy metal with traditional Eastern Balkan music and the "Sevdah" style of Bosnian music (a kind of blues), 'Sevdah Metal' is only elevated further by the vocals of John West (Artension, ex-Royal Hunt) and the drumming of Mike Terrana (Masterplan, Axel Rudi Pell, Artension, ex-Rage, many more).

First and, unfortunately, only album from Southern Storm. The Leading force of the band is virtouso Emir Hot, later known for working with big names of metal scene, but it's good to mention that the whole band was on world class level on this album, especially powerfull vocalist.
